As per the Lajna Constitution

108. Secretary Diyafat shall be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete record of the expenses of Diyafat.

  • (a) Account of daily expenses.
  • (b) Account of expenses for functions and events.

109. It shall be the responsibility of Secretary Diyafat to arrange catering for functions which are held under Lajna Ima’illah Mulk.

110. It is the duty of Secretary Diyafat to maintain a complete record of all material held under her department and check this from time to time.

Objective of the Diyafat Department

The Diyafat Department of Lajna Ima’illah Canada is dedicated to promoting Islamic principles of hospitality, simplicity, cleanliness, and gratitude. In keeping with the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and the guidance of Khilafat, the department aims to cultivate refined etiquette, responsible consumption, and service to others in both private and community settings.
